What the app does
Teams by Cognisys is a lightweight, mobile-first hub for a youth sports team. It keeps the game schedule, the game-day snack rotation, and each family's calendar in sync so nobody has to dig through group texts to find out where and when the next game is.
Parents do not create accounts or passwords. Team organizers share a team link, and everything a family needs is on that page.
Schedule access
Every game and practice in one list — date, kickoff time, opponent, home or away, field name, and a tap-to-open map link. No app install and no account required.
Snack signup
Each game shows whether the snack spot is open or already claimed. A parent enters a family name (and optionally an email or phone) to claim a date, and the spot locks so two families can't claim the same game.
Calendar connections
Families can subscribe to a live team calendar feed in Apple Calendar, Outlook, or any calendar app, or connect Google Calendar so the app maintains a dedicated team calendar that updates automatically when a game detail or snack assignment changes.
Who it is for
Youth sports families, coaches, and team organizers — today that includes the Impact Gorillas 6U and 9U teams. Organizers manage the schedule and volunteer assignments; parents just open their team link.
